Sky Sports football pundit and Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, hopes Victor Moses can give Liverpool a new dimension after his season-long loan move from Chelsea.
According to Liverpoolfc.com, Carragher was a big admirer of the Chelsea man during his time at Wigan Athletic, and the former Reds vice-captain, who retired at the end of last season, knows what Moses can bring to the team.
"I think Moses will be an important signing. Maybe that bit of pace and power on the counter attack, strength in the wide area will add a lot to the side," he said.
Chelsea have loaned Moses to Liverpool as well as surprisingly loaning Romelu Lukaku to Liverpool's neighbours Everton, a move that has confused many at Stamford Bridge.
The west London club also sold Daniel Sturridge to Liverpool last season, a move that has paid dividends for Carragher's beloved side.
Carragher will be able to watch Brendan Rodgers side for the first time as a pundit on Monday night as they travel to Wales to face Swansea City.
The former defender, who is attempting to hide his bias now that he is a member of the Sky Sports team, is looking forward to the occasion.
"They're top of the table at the moment and it'll be interesting to see if the new boys will be involved and if they can stay at the top of the table," he added.
Liverpool may need a win to regain top spot should Chelsea or Manchester City get the right result at the weekend, but with the Premier League's form striker on board, and the addition of Moses in attack, you wouldn't bet against Steven Gerrard and company taking all three points at the Liberty.
