Taarabt Leaves QPR for Fulham on Loan.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel
Taarabt has signed for Fulham on a season-
long loan. Adel Taarabt Joins Martin Jol’s Fulham. The Morocco international said the move
was prompted by his desire to remain in top
flight football after QPR were relegated to
the Championship. “This was a difficult decision for me, but at
this stage of my career I feel I need to be
playing at the top level. “I hope the fans understand my decision
and I really hope to return to Loftus Road
one day.” QPR secured a permanent deal for Taarabt
in 2010 after playing the 2009/10 season
for Rangers on loan from Tottenham
Hotspur. He made 150 league appearances for the
Loftus Road club and was named as the
Championship’s player of the year in
2010/11 on the way to helping Rangers
clinch promotion to English top flight. He scored five goals in 31 appearances for
QPR last season as the London club finished
bottom of the Premier League table.
