Hit And Run Driver Kills Highway Sweeper In Port Harcourt



One of the ladies engaged by the Rivers
state Environmental Sanitation Agency to
sweep major roads in Port Harcourt has
been allegedly knocked down by a hit and
run driver. She was reportedly killed Wednesday
morning by the driver around Market
Junction on Aba road. Eyewitnesses said the driver immediately
sped off after hitting the lady. The body of the poor lady was
dismembered, and sympathisers at the
scene made effort to gather her remains,
causing a traffic gridlock at the portion of
Aba road where the accident occurred. The victim’s remains, according to sources
have been deposited at the morgue.
