Keshi wants total mauling of Malawi

Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi said he and his wards are looking forward to a comprehensive beating of Malawi when they clash on September 7 for the group qualifiers of the FIFA 2014 World Cup.
Keshi who was speaking in Johannesburg after the 2-0 win over Bafana Bafana in noted that his team’s performance in friendly in South Africa will amount to nothing if Malawi escapes defeat in Calabar. He added that he was excited by his team cohesion and that was what mattered.

“It it’s about the unity of the team. How we played and the attitude of the players in the match againt South Africa.
“But the  most important game for us is on the 7th of September against Malawi. The match in agaisnt  Bafana Bafana is a great reunion factor for us. We must now to build our confidence to go on and get ready for that game against Malawi.”
Meanwhile Keshi has lambasted Malawi coach Tom Saintfeit over his call for the match to moved from calabar.
“The Malawi coach cannot tell us where to play our matches. He can say whatever he likes, that’s his own opinion and problem. We have no problem and he is not qualified enough to make that call or request.
“This is where we play our games and other countries are fine with that.
“Someone cannot say to Nigeria to take the game elsewhere because he feels too important.
“Please tell him [Saintfiet] the game will take place in Calabar, he can choose not to come, we have no problem with that.”
