Army Trains Troops On Counter Terrorism

As the security forces battle with the Boko Haram insurgency in the north, the Nigerian Army has trained a total of 724 troops on counter terrorism to consolidate on successes recorded recently by troops against security challenges facing the country.

At their graduation ceremony held at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Jaji, Kaduna North West Nigeria, representatives of the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Major General Tukur Burutai and the Chief of Army Staff Major General Salihu Uba both agreed that the soldiers are now suitable for deployment to troubled zones to tackle security challenges facing the country.

And the Soldiers on their said the training has sharpened their warfare tactics and further emboldened them to confront all forms of security challenges against their fatherland.

Those who performed gallantly in combat shooting, obstacle crossing among others were given awards.
