ALL roads lead to the Redemption Camp of The
Redeemed Christian Church of Christ for the
toast of the ongoing annual convention, the
Holy Ghost Service as Nigerians from all
corners are expected to take advantage of the public holi-days to attend. The Holy Ghost service which holds every first
Friday of every month is the star attraction of
all RCCG pro-grammes because it is always a
power packed session with diverse miracle and
unusual ministrations.

Camp today, a new rule was announced on
Wednesday night to the effect that vehicles
may not be allowed to approach the Arena
instead they will directed to the various car
parks around the camp from where parti- cipants will be transported to the venue by
special buses designed for that purpose. “We know fully well that the traffic situation
along the Lagos-Baden Expressway is usually
very busy during this period and there is the
dire need to appeal to the conscience of
motorists on the road adhere strictly to
instructions from the various controllers on the expressway,” one of the traffic managers on
the road told our reporter. According to him, everybody coming from
Lagos or the opposite direction would be
directed to properly designate car parks from
where they would take a bus to the arena for
the programmed, appealing that such persons
should be mindful of the feelings of other road users who are not coming to the camp. The new rule had become necessary because
of the unprecedented vehicles already within
the camp causing heavy traffic within the
camp, just as the announcer also urged all
participants who had built ‘empires’ within the
auditorium denying new arrivals access to seats to dismantle immediately. Those were the indications that today’s service
would attract a mammoth crowd especially
from Lagos and its environs. In addition to that,
the security department as well as the
transport division which have been put on high
alert to avert any disruption of the peace. Similarly, the General Overseer of the church,
Pastor Enoch Adeboye had again warned
participants to stay way from the Redemption
Camp if they are not ready to get serious with
the ongoing move of God. According to him,
this year’s convention is not for jokers whose stock in trade is to come to the camp to wile
away time and cause distraction to others who
are determined to worship God in truth and in
Spirit. He warned such participants, who are already in
the camp to pack their bags and baggage and
leave, stressing that only those who are ready
for, what he called ‘heavy stuff’ that should
remain. As at the Wednesday, Daddy G.O. as he fondly
called by his members and numerous spiritual
children across the globe has focused his
ministration on true salvation, sanctification
and the need for all true children of God to live
holy lives, saying that without holiness nobody can see the Lord. The first message titled, ‘The Saviour’ was
followed by another heavy stuff titled ‘The
Sanctifier’ and they were reminders that we
must all leave the life of Jesus, the savior and
sanctifier. He maintained that sanctification is another
grace of God by which our souls are
progressively and completely cleansed. This is
the second accompli-shment of the grace
which through our faith in the Blood of Jesus
Christ is wrought after we have been justified and free from our sins or regene-rated By Wednesday night, Daddy G.O. announced to
the large crowd of worsh-ippers that the
number of babies born since the
commencement of the annual convention has
risen to 34 —17 boys and 17 girls.
