14 Killed In Iraq Sunni Funeral Blast

A double bombing at a Sunni funeral in
Baghdad has killed 14 people, Iraqi officials
say. It was the third day in a row in which
funerals were attacked in the Iraqi capital. The officials said the blasts on Monday hit
near a mourning tent for one of four people
killed two days before when gunmen shot
up a store discretely selling liquor in the
Sunni neighbourhood of Azamiyah. A security official said another 35 were
wounded. A medical official confirmed the casualty
figures. The Azamiyah shooting was believed to be
carried out by hard-line Sunni militants, who
are most likely to attack liquor stores in
Sunni areas.
